AIDET is an acronym for Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank. This is a portion of a training course I built that focuses on various scenarios and how to handle different situations using AIDET.  It uses variables so the user can enter their name.  There is also a cool little meter I added that tracks how the learner does throughout.
